It was created by pascal morabito, the french label founded by the designer of the same name. The top notes are an exciting mix of fruits and flowers with bergamot, sweet green apple and marigold. These lead into the heart notes of dry bamboo, cardamom and palisander rosewood. The base notes are a mixture of warm and sweet and consist of praline, patchouli and musk.

Black Granit is produced by the Paris-based design house of Pascal Morabito. This luxury brand pays homage to beauty, art and science through its creation of high-end jewelry, fragrances, spa products, luggage and leather goods. The company commenced jewelry production in the 1970s and released its first perfume in 1980. Its perfumes occupy coveted positions within the International Perfume Museum's permanent collection in Grasse, France. Present-day manufacturing continues in partnership with numerous well-known perfumers.
