Gameplay

The player's goal is to make the young coral grow by distributing nourishing substances in the sea from their boat; once 3 or more of the same are connected, a reaction occurs that makes the coral grow. In a reverse version of regular puzzle games, distributing too much substance, leads to it floating down to the sea bottom, and causing pollution. There are three modes in the game; Time Mode, Endless Mode and Story Mode.

In the DS version, obstacles include squids that black out coral pieces so they get unerasable for a number of turns, sharks that disturb the player's, and snails that eat some of the coral created. Τhe Anchor is an item that kills the latter. There are other items; the Bomb wipes out a group of coral blocks bunched together, a Rainbow Coral erases all coral blocks with the same colour as the one you hit with it, and the Wave washes away the top row of blocks. Items can be obtained either from busting coral blocks that contain them, or buying them from the main shop with money the player acquires throughout each play

In the Wii version, the obstacles include a Coral Destroyer and a Jellyfish that destroy the reefs under the surface, and a Squid that releases black ink or sponge bubbles, making dissoliving pods more difficult. The latter two can be defeated via the player's Nunchuck.
