Two Channels - Vintage and Versatile

Two completely independent channels, each with two stages of gain and a straightforward control layout, make it effortless to dial in any combination of vintage tones. Voiced to be similar enough to work together but different enough to have their characters, both channels will go from crystal-clean to thick-and-filthy, or anywhere in between. Interacting beautifully with the EL84 power amp, Channel One is good enough to be an amp on its own, ranging from bell-like chime to Classic Rock grit. Channel Two is the same personality – but in a bad mood! A touch more gain and a snotty, aggressive edge make this the perfect channel for cutting leads and pounding riffs.

Valve Rectifier

The GZ34 rectifier valve is crucial to the AD30’s great tone. Natural compression and sag in the power stage provide a responsive and dynamic playing experience, adding just the right amount of sweetness to the lively, in-your-face character of the amp.

UK-Built Transformers

Orange Amps PPC212 is a closed-back 2×12-inch cabinet equal in width to the PPC412. Featuring two Celestion Vintage 30 speakers, the PPC212 is essentially a classic 4×12 slashed in half. The large internal volume of the sealed enclosure makes the PPC212 ideal for players looking for the fattest possible tone when a 4×12-inch would be too large. Many players choose to stack two PPC212 cabs for ease of load-in, also giving them the flexibility of using just one for smaller venues. Made in England from high-density 13-ply 18mm Baltic birch plywood, the PPC212 is fitted with steel hardware to withstand the rigors of the road. Unique skid runners fitted to the base help to acoustically couple cabinets to the stage for a fuller low-end response.
