The optical design features 15 lens elements in 12 groups, including 2 aspherical elements, 3 ED (extra-low dispersion) elements and 1 Super ED element to thoroughly suppress chromatic aberrations. This means your images will achieve high resolution performance from edge-to-edge.

The lens has been sealed in nine areas, allowing you to shoot with confidence and stability, even in dusty environments and in light rain outdoors.

Advanced Autofocus

Thanks to the inner focusing system being used to lighten the weight of the focus lens, the autofocus is fast, quiet, and accurate. The high speed AF provides a versatile shooting experience.

Sharper Images

The f/4 maximum aperture produces extremely sharp results. Special Nano GI coating is applied to the lens that effectively eliminated unwanted ghosting or flaring.
