Two USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports let you share printers and storage devices, while WPA3 encryption helps to enhance security.

12 Wi-Fi Streams

Twelve Wi-Fi streams, including four in the 2.4 GHz band and eight in the 5 GHz band, enable the router to send and receive more data from connected devices. Essentially, more spatial streams mean more available bandwidth and less congestion for all the devices in the Wi-Fi network. Nighthawk AX12 also supports sending up to eight multi-user MIMO transmissions at a time, which is four more than what existing Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) routers allow.

Multi-Gigabit Ethernet Port

The multi-gigabit Ethernet port on AX12 is designed to give you five times faster speeds than the wired speed of a typical Gigabit Ethernet port, allowing your network attached storage (NAS) devices, switches, and other devices capable of 2.5 Gb/s and 5 Gb/s speeds to operate at full capacity. Use the four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports to connect more wired devices, or combine two Gigabit Ethernet ports to further improve the aggregated file transfer speed.
