Regrettably, one of the injured children, a four-year-old girl, passed away while undergoing treatment, while the remaining four pupils are still receiving medical attention for their head and limb injuries.

Kilifi North Deputy County Commissioner Samuel Mutisya has urged teachers to exercise caution and prevent pupils from using classrooms with compromised structures. According to Mr. Mutisya, "The wind has blown off the roofs of several schools, and we are appealing to teachers not to allow pupils to learn in dilapidated classrooms with loose roofs."
