In 1914, Professor Pacoli and his student Billy discover a prophecy in ancient Egyptian ruins about Evil destroying planets every 5,000 years. To stop it, they need a weapon with the four elements and a perfect being. A priest tries to poison Pacoli but fails. Robotic aliens, Mondoshawans, arrive to retrieve the elemental stones and the fifth element, leaving Earth vulnerable. As chaos erupts, the priest fears for Earth's safety. Billy finds a gun, triggering a security system and forcing the aliens to flee, leaving Earth unprotected and in danger.
