"Pari sa Pampanga" is a Tagalog horror animation based on a true story about a priest in Pampanga who encounters an aswang. The story follows Father Andres, a well-respected priest who serves a small, quiet town in Pampanga. One night, he is called to bless the home of a family whose livestock has been mysteriously dying. The townspeople suspect that an aswang is responsible, but Father Andres dismisses it as superstition.
As the strange events continue—animals found dead and villagers reporting eerie sightings—Father Andres begins to experience disturbing visions and nightmares. One evening, he is confronted by a mysterious woman who confesses that she is an aswang. She begs for forgiveness but reveals that she cannot stop her transformation and the harm she causes at night.
Determined to help, Father Andres seeks guidance from an old albularyo in the village. Together, they perform a dangerous ritual to confront the aswang and free her from the curse. However, the battle between faith and the supernatural forces tests Father Andres’ beliefs as he faces the dark reality of the creature.
"Pari sa Pampanga" blends elements of faith, redemption, and Filipino folklore, creating a suspenseful story about the struggle between good and evil. The animation explores the power of belief and the dangers of ignoring the supernatural in a town steeped in mystical traditions.
