Annelise, a recent graduate struggling to find a job in interior design, is feeling disheartened after multiple interviews that require experience she doesn't have. She longs to return to Puerto Rico for Thanksgiving to see her family, but plane tickets are too expensive.

Her friend Ginger encourages her to consider starting her own business, given her DIY following on Instagram. Despite her reluctance to borrow money for a ticket, she is motivated to keep trying. Annelise eventually finds an opportunity at a local shop where the manager recognizes her Instagram account and appreciates her work, giving her a chance to turn her passion into a business.
